I always take time to say thanks to our service men and women. I appreciate them year round but make sure I say thank you on this day. My grandfather, father and brother were all in the Army and I tried but couldn't pass the hearing test (deaf in my right ear and I suffer loss in the left) and that has always been one of my greatest regrets I didn't get the chance to serve.

I also just wanted to put in my thanks too. The Vets are definitely something that I always appreciate. I thought about joining the service too at some point, but never did. I don't really know why that is, just didn't.
