    Default Rifle Season?

What is in season for rifle right now?

On the way home, saw some guy who looked like mid 50's dressed like a pumpkin carrying his rifle through a field on the edge of the road...
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

Pretty soon there will be a season for those between 39-42 with one eye, red hair and hairy backs.....

yeah this guy had a big game rifle, not a .22 or shotgun

I'm 1000% in favor of the youth hunting days. Its a great way to get the kids into the sport without the insane pressure and danger of actual rifle season.

But why the hell "seniors" get to hunt is beyond me. Its not like we have a lot of seniors getting into the sport now? If it is a handicap thing then I'm fine with a youth/handicap season but just because you are 65 you get to go out and hunt out of season with a high power rifle? the week after Muzzle loader/inline ends?

And in passing the newer muzzle loaders look an awful lot like a rifle.
