I carry a pt111 Millenium. Not the pro but an older generation model. It is striker fire double action only weapon. The trigger pull is very long and of course safety on at all times (I even check now and then the same way one checks to make sure their fly isn't open)

I'd like some opinions on carrying with a chambered round. If my weapon were a single action or a sa/da I would not question but this gun has the striker action of a revolver so in my mind could be carried as one. In a worst case scenario could the extra action of working the slide after draw prove fatal against an armed assailant?
