Anyone else have the NRA call your house?
Just got a call from chris cox from the NRA and was asked to join in with other NRA membes from the 15th District in a conference call with him and Charlie Dent, the NRA supported congressman. Got to actually talk to them both and ask a few questions. Anyone else have this?
Now less Glock, more H&K :)

No, but I had some annoying prick call to hound me about a membership. Not so coincidentally, it was right after I signed up for a membership at the local shooting range, which sort of bothered me.

Are you kidding me?
They called me frequently and endlessly. For years after my membership "expired."

Thats Funny, When i lived on long island i used to be steering committee chairman and a fund raiser and they never called me much less a conference call, but back then Wayne LaPierre were running the show and Moses were the president.

Re: Anyone else have the NRA call your house?
I have a personal guide of how much I can afford to donate to a particular cause. It varies but I do not give more than I have decided is the limit. Yerars ago The NRA hounded me to give more and more above my annual dues, they would call me at all hours of the day (and I worked nights,) or evening. Finally I told them they were harassing me and to stop calling me. They continued, I contacted their supervisors, managers and anyone who would listen. Finally I told them that my lawyer would handle any further correspondence from them and they could expect a costly litigation case of harassment as I had been logging phone records and names. They never called again.
I will never give another red cent to the NRA.Derrion Albert was my Hero.

Re: Anyone else have the NRA call your house?
I don't get any phone calls from the NRA. Of course I went on-line and specifically noted that I was not to get any phone calls from them a few years ago. I seem to see a great number of people who don't opt out of their programs but then complain that they get contacted. All anyone has to do is log on to their site using your member id and you can opt out if you are already a member. If you are just signing up you can also opt out at that time.

Re: Anyone else have the NRA call your house?
I think the OP was asking if anyone got a call from the NRA to be on a conference call, not whether some had received robo-calls for money (who hasn't?)

Re: Anyone else have the NRA call your house?
This is in the olden days, before the interwebz. Some were robo calls, others were actual humans (semi literate as they were) but it seemed every day I got 1 or 2 calls. I felt like I had to give more money to get these guys to leave me alone. I don't even want to talk about the weekly mailers they sent me in addition to American Rifleman mags. Its no wonder that they were begging so hard for cash, the marketing budget alone would have been formidable in size and scope.
