Center Axis Re-Lock(open enrolment)
CENTER AXIS RE-LOCK(two days)This course version is open to any person with a concealed carry permit. The curriculum presented is that of IPD Systems, sister company of Sabre Tactical. This is one of the first times this material has ever been available to the general public. This course will run January 5th & 6th.
This system is a new and powerful concept in firearms training. Paul Castle has developed the C.A.R. system over a long period. Born from a true understanding of how our bodies work during combat crisis. This system was developed for true close quarter combat, and not a rehash of old techniques. The system offers the Operator a higher level of Weapon Retention, than existing techniques to date. The concept allows the Operator to achieve high degrees of movement, speed, and an enhanced Shooting Platform, giving additional speed and accuracy on demand during a Crisis. These techniques are adaptable, in that the Operator may adopt either Small Arms or Long Guns as the primary weapon. For more information on the Center Axis Re-lock shooting techniques please visit Paul's web-site at http://www.sabretactical.com
Areas covered:
The 5 Rs of combat
The four key presentation positions
The CAR combat matrix
Bullet wounds and their effects
Principals of stability
Target acquisition and the target T
Identifying your focal point and the C.A.R sighting theory
Superior retention aspects of C.A.R
Use of force-full hand fighting
For those wishing to attend it is imperative to note that you must be in excellent physical shape. This cannot be over emphasized. There is a large amount of information to cover in three days, so come prepared for physical exertion.
2008 price $300.0
EQUIPMENT LIST
750-1000 rounds of factory ammunition (no re-loads!)
A serviceable/reliable semi-automatic pistol (no revolvers, sorry; Also, this is not the time to break in your brand new beauty. Vet it ahead of time)
3-5 spare magazines( 1911 users-5 should be minimum)

Sturdy gun belt( 1 ½ to 2 is optimum)
Magazine pouch(doubles work best for the range)
Rain gear(we shoot rain or shine)
bug spray
sun block
Knee and elbow pads(suggested, not mandatory)
hat with brim
Clothing suitable for the weather (come prepared!)
Water and a delivery system
Bring a lunch
* A mouth guard though not manditory is a good idea

Glad to see you were able to put it together. Should be another great class. I'll be there.
I don't suppose the carbine class is in the works too?

Re: Center Axis Re-Lock(open enrolment)
Right now it looks as though we have about 8 people. I can only take a few more. It should be a good two days. Though some of the techniques may seem a bit unorthodox at first just about everyone that I have ever trained with or trained in the system have come away really taking to it. Some LE's that I ran through the system made comments such as, "where was this stuff 18 years ago?" or "ill never go back to the old way." Those who tend to go into harms way really appreciate the weapon retention/close in fighting aspects. The weapon retention techniques are nearly flawless.
I just finished up an AK Rifle course. Its my favorite weapon system to work with. It should be offered by the spring. Course description is posted now on the web site

To say I'm incredibly interested would do a disservice to the words incredibly and interested.
You're going to be at the VF show on Friday? I'll be stopping by for more info. . .

For those that are still interested we may have one or two slots left. We have had a very good response to this. These are very inovative techniques. You will not be dissapointed!
