I really don't see how this has anything to do with the castle doctrine.
Now, had the gentleman proceded to beat the robber with a short length of hose, and be sued because of it. Then, I could see why this would be viable.
But, since the homeowner didn't (at least from what I read in the article) defend himself, it doesn't have any bearing.I'm so fast, I can bump fire a bolt action.

I agree with you Connal. The story really has nothing to do with HB40. I just posted it to show how bold BGs can be and that our duty to retreat from our own yard is hogwash and needs to be eliminated. Maybe my choice of the thread title should have been better thought out.
