    I have the same model but in .270. The gun is super accurate but the trigger really sucked. I was going to buy a new rifle and chose to go with the trigger below instead. Made a huge difference. I doubt it will fix all of your problems, but it's a great trigger for $100. I had a Remington model 700 in 7mm mag and I could not get groups under 4 in at 100 yards. Tried about 5 different types of ammo, tried free floating the barrel nothing worked. I traded it in on a 300 Win mag and I'm getting under 1 moa no problem. It wasn't that I couldn't shoot a magnum rifle, there was just something wrong with it. It could just be the gun.
