    Default Paper for patterning?

Does anyone know where to get 36-48 inch wide roll of paper cheap? Hopefully $15 or less shipped. Can't see spending $3-4 a sheet for a printed target that is only going to be shot at once, heck I can't see spending that for a rifle/handgun target either.

36" X 25 yard roll. Could probably just get it from the store rather than shipped. Looks like they have 2 stores in York.

First thing that comes to mind is "Red Rosin Paper" it is the paper used under hard wood flooring. It is also used to protect flooring. They usually come in 3 foot rolls. Home depot and lowes should have this for pretty cheap and a large amount of it.

Here is some online but shipping more than the item itself.

DING! DING! DING! Mike, beat me to it. I just put flooring in my dining room and had to get a roll of this. Perfect for what the OP needs.

Be safe (and keep on rollin').

Sweet, I'll have to run to the local hardware stores and see what they have. My brain doesn't work right half the time and I wasn't even thinking those stores might have what I'm looking for. Thanks.

All you need is a sheet of news paper (approx 30" X 44"). I've been using it for years to pattern shotguns up to 35 yards away. I use a 4" piece of duct tape in the middle to aim at.

Doesn't the print make it a bit difficult to see the pattern sometimes?

Brown packing paper from staples... Same idea as the building paper.

I can get you a 500' roll of 36” Green Masking Paper for $20.00. It's what we use to cover cars for paint at the body shop where I work. I have a roll of the stuff that I use for the exact same thing. I also use the smaller 18" and 6" rolls that we have for non-shotgun targets. I'm not sure of the exact price for the smaller rolls but I would imagine it's about $5/roll for the 6" and $10 for the 18" roll.
