M&P .40
New to me Smith and Wesson M&P .40. I shoot Winchester Law Enforcement ammo and also have my PA LTCF and use it.
What are others thoughts and feelings on this gun? I have the full size.

Re: M&P .40
I have the same one and also the M&P40c I love them both. I carry the 40c everyday, I don't carry the full size just cause I have no holster for it yet but no matter the M&P is an excellent choice for whatever you use it for. Congratulations!

Re: M&P .40
I've shot a few, liked them enough to buy one for myself last weekend. I'm going to give mine a good break-in(g) this weekend.

Re: M&P .40
I have had this gun for several years and it has yet to give me one issue. It's miles above the Sigma series.

Re: M&P .40
I ran 300 rounds through mine this morning. No major problems, only a few failures to lock back when empty. I haven't looked too far into what is causing that problem yet. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with the gun, just needs a bit of work to become what I expect it to be. Sights, trigger work(just took care of that this evening), and some stippling.

Re: M&P .40
Congrats on your new handgun, I've always had a soft spot S&W. Now you have to pick up a S&W revolver, nothing like it (no offense to Ruger fans).
These are the times that try men's souls: The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Thomas Paine 1776
