Default Great find; cerakote in PGH

A few weeks ago I posted asking about Dylan's coatings and if anyone has used them. No reply, but Mark seemed like a real professional, and a shooter too, so I figured I'd give him a shot. He's not in the firearm coating business, does mostly stuff for aviation and race cars, but he said he'd done a few for friends and would be glad to help out (wanted to recoat my AK before bringing it that weekend to a rifle class). Long story short, one day turn around, Desert Tan, $100, and best job out of any cerakote or duracoat weapon I have (4 of them prior).

The coating was smooth, thin, properly applied with a good prepping procedure (you can talk to him about it if you're interested), and evenly dispersed everwhere. I was thoroughly impressed and my only qualm is that I don't have a truckload of guns to give him. I will be bringing him my 12G and my Glock when I get them back from my pops.

Just figured I'd pass this reference along for anyone looking for a professional recoat for a great price and customer service.

ETA: The gun got run through a rifle course without cleaning (about 1K rounds) so most grey/black is carbon or me scratching it from dropping it, it rubbings against mags in my vest all day or who knows what else. I beat the ever living heck out of that thing.
