It's Official - OC Season is Over ;)

It ended today.

It is officially determined by observations and atmospheric measurements in the Lehigh Valley by the duly appointed Open Carry Season Board. The Board is appointed between July 1 and August 31 each year by me and consists of me.

This is the Second Annual Determination by the board. And, perhaps coincidentally, it is within just a couple days of the first date of Determination last year.

Facts:

1. The Determination applies to the entire Commonwealth.

2. Open Carry is still permitted whenever coats or jackets are not required.

3. Open Carry is permitted indoors.

4. Tucking a coat or jacket behind an OWB firearm is still acceptable on the range.

5. Open Carry is permitted for hunting regardless of manner of dress.

We're putting together a Board for Determination of Season for Daisy Duke Shorts. You might want to submit a request for application. Because, right now, it looks like the Season will be pretty short. Send $50 and your qualifications to be considered for appointment to The Board (Pending). Include with your (non-refundable) $50 application fee any frivolous challenges you have expressed to the Open Carry Season Board. "Character Issues" will be investigated for any applicant. If any of you want to apply for consideration to be appointed to The Board then submit your application for review prior to July 1, 2011 just like everybody else.

Everybody complains but only The Board actually does anything.

Did one of you miss rule 14. C (2 - a)

which says, in essence, OC is allowable in any wheather if the bearer is wearing shorts and no more than a Tee-shirt, with shoes or footwear of any kind being optional.
