    Default Can I buy ammo in Jersey?

    I found a place reasonably close by that sells bulk ammo.

    They give even bigger discounts if they don't have to ship it to you.

    Can I just drive over to Jersey, buy a few thousand rounds, and cross the bridge back home lawfully?

    My "common sense" tells me that ammo not at all like a gun so I should be able to do this, but common sense doesn't always work with gun laws.

    and PS: if you know of an even cheaper place to buy ammo near philly, that would also be appreciated. I'm always looking for more 9mm and .22lr

    If you can legally buy it online and have it shipped to you I don't see why not.

    Absolutely, when I visit my family I occasionally buy it at the Dick's in Woodbridge because they have that great deal for 9mm at 6.98 for 50 if you buy ten cases and the local Dick's by me is usually out. The only downside is that Jersey changed the sale tax to 7%.

    I've bought ammo in several other states and brought it back to Pa. If this is illegal then I'm reporting the alleged actions of a friend of a friend of a friend.
