Very busy Saturday morning, lots of show-goers bringing in rifles, shotguns, and a few scattered handguns for sale. Tables in both buildings sold out as usual. Some deals to be had, too.

I found an unfired NIB 20" octagon-barreled Marlin 1894 Cowboy in 357/38 Spl for $575 (going rate for an 1894C with round barrel), the guy selling the Marlin 357CB came down from $675. Also picked up a hardly fired Norinco 1911A1 in box with two mags, cleaning rod, brush, and instruction/information sheet for $300. Sold a couple guns at my target price points that I had lost interest in. Good day.

On the other hand, a few vendors had unbelievable prices on some guns, like a beat up 1950s production Marlin 336 in 30-30 for $550, and Ithaca 37 with 28" barrel that had maybe 70% blueing left, and a heel-chipped buttstock for $495. A guy was walking around with a Marlin lever in 219 Zipper, a very scarce Marlin indeed, asking $1500.

That's the thing about this show; younever know what's going to turn up.
