    Default 922r and Machine Guns

Do machine guns have to be 922(r) compliant as well? I think most of them I have seen have the original parts on them if I am not mistaken.

Any machine guns in the registry (which was closed in 1986) predate 922(r) (imposed in 1990), and as such 922(r) does not apply to them.

It might but for the most part it would not affect original C&R type guns which are worth the most. It would affect sideplate guns, sears, lightning link, reg bolt guns, tube guns, etc. Keep in mind at that point you could make a whole bunch more MGs for the collection.

Can you imagine the line of FedEx trucks pulling into Martinsburg with Form 1s for 10 AM delivery?

I got three drills that we'll need to run 24/7 for the first week. So I figure we'll have to hire and room at least 6 illegals.

NOTE: Mods, I am not suggesting breaking the "law." We will only hire the types of illegals the adminstration says are OK. Haven't been involved in that and not sure how it works.

No, they're exempt as are host guns that have a registered machinegun sear installed.

Apparently, since the govt has done nothing about this issue, I guess that all types of "illegals" are ok.

actually, Machine guns are 922(r) exempt as they dont fit the QUALIFYING standard, namely they are not a SEMIAUTOMATIC weapon in a form banned form importation.

I own a full-auto H&K MP5 and I would be happy if the ban was lifted... What's $18k compared to our priceless constitutional rights?
