    Default Taurus 24/7 Holster Question

    Hello all,

I'm considering purchasing a Taurus 24/7, 4" barrel, .45 cal. I plan on running this in a Minotaur Spartan holster for CC, and a Blackhawk Serpa Level 2 for OC.

Being as that I don't own one, can anybody tell me if the dimensions for the .45 are the same as the 9mm/.40? If I'm not mistaken, Glocks use a slightly larger frame for their .45's and they will not fit a holster designed for 9mm/.40. Does the same hold true for the Taurus 24/7 line?

    Thanks,
    John

My advice, dont buy a Taurus for a protection gun. For the range sure but not for defense with the possible exception of the model 85. For what you would pay for the Taurus buy a used pistol from a reputable manufacturer.

haha, my 1st gun was the 24/7 pro45, you can expect alot of light primer strikes on all type of ammo. I personally won't by a taurus again, but my buddies got 3 of em, he loves it.

Thanks guys...but I wasn't really looking for an opinion on whether or not the 24/7 is a good handgun.

I wanted to know if the dimensions were the same on all caliber versions. Will a holster for the 24/7 fit the 9mm, .40, and .45 versions OR does the .45 need a larger/wider holster?
