Collingdale Delco Local records check for LTCF?

My wife renewed her LTCF in Delco, now we just got a letter from local PD {Collingdale} asking for $10 because the Sheriffs Dept requested a records check, wondering if anyone else has run into this or if they are starting to squeeze a few bucks outta us to balance their budget

If the sheriff requested the records check from the PD, then he should pay for it. Send the bill to him.

I agree with everyone else. You have no legal duty to pay that fee, and if the Collingdale wants money the sheriff's office can pay them.

Wait, you mean that PD keep thier own records? the Sheriff's dept. use's the same background check as any local PD. Why would they need to have them run a background check, total BS. please let us know the rest of the story on how it ends.
