    Looking for a grip just like this wood for a 1911....but it must be wood; no aluminum crap.

    You could try www.wickedgrips.com

    They make full custom grips made of wood, aluminum, resins, polymers, you name it, they'll make it. They'll put in custom graphics, etc. on the grips as well. The guy who owns the business is an active contributor to a gun forum I used to post at: www.hk94.com.

    If you don't mind spending a couple hundred dollars and waiting over a year, he'll make you something you'll love. I know a few people who have his grips and they're absolutely immaculate and of the highest quality... but you have to pay for that quality.
