Default Today may be a step forward for Canada

I've been living in Ontario for 2 weeks now so I'm starting to get wind of the political process. Today is one of four(?) votes to get rid of the long-gun registry. (Hey, it's progress). If they pass today it goes on for another vote and if it passes that it goes on for a fourth and final vote.

Anyway, for those who are interested, you can watch tonight:

And here's a site that the Conservative Party of Canada put together:

Does that mean I won`t have to register my rifles when I come up to Canada to hunt? Pissed me off that I had to fork over more money just so that I could spend more money to hunt and keep outfitters in business, so they in turn could pay the high taxes to the gov that just taken it from me.

That'd be correct (to the best of my knowledge).
