    Default 44 Magnum

Hey anyone know where there is a good selection of .44 magnum, preferably in Pittsburgh or on-line??

I bought a Marlin 1894 at the VGS this week and have to start looking for plinking ammo.

I definitely want cheap, reliable and brass-cased. I called walmart today in West Mifflin and they didnt have any in stock. But the cheapest they sold it for was $30 a 50 round box. Is that the cheapest that I'll find for brass-cased? Any places cheaper?

    Thanks in advance.

$30 a box of 50 seems about the best I can find. Sportsmans guide, Grafs and Cheaper than dirt all sell it for about the same, maybe 2 or 3 bucks less plus shipping.

Alright thanks. Yea I saw those places on-line already. I was hoping for some local places that might have some sort of secret stash. I was just trying to avoid the shipping costs since I only wanted to try out a box or two.

Actually they only have a couple of non SD boxes; Magtech $27/box, Remington $33/box, & Winchester $40/box
Add another buck for shipping to get the stuff.

I was at a gunshop in Butler last spring that had a nice selection of 44 (bought a couple boxes myself). Great shop just outside of town called Sportsman Supply. I remember the guy said they did most business online.

Do you have the website? I thought I pulled it up but the site didn't sell on-line or have many prices posted.

They sell a lot on Gunbroker and Auctions Arms, so maybe that's what they meant. BTW, Dunham's usually keeps a box or two of WWB 44 Mag in stock. Don't have one anymore so I'm not sure of their prices.
