getting a temp license

if i was goin to go to ct for a long weekend is it possible to obtain a out of state temp licen and if so how llong is the process

The short answer is no. It is possible to obtain a Connecticut license but it's a long (several months), expensive process. [CT does have something called a "temporary permit" but it's only for residents.] I'm not aware of any state that will issue a temporary license to carry (though some will issue on an emergency basis if an imminent threat can be shown), and certainly not to a non-resident. It's a little different from a hunting/fishing license.
