Thumbs up Re: Shakey's-Customer Appreciation Week-09/20 to 09/25

I did a GunBroker deal with Shakey's recently.

    They're cool people. Thumbs up!

After watching this video and seeing his other shooting video's (which display total lack of safety and not so hot shooting, I really don't think I'll be going back and neither will my LE brothers).....

If you have a personal grudge against the shop owner I fail to see what that has to do with his business practices? I've been to all of the shops in the local are many times and see nothing wrong with MOST of them. Regardless the shop owners actions in his/her personal life are not of my concern unless they directly affect me in some way.

As for the youtube video you posted: It sounds to me like you are jealous that the owner made the attempt to actually do something productive for himself and his shop.

If you really are LE as you allude to in your post I would think you would have conducted yourself in a more professional manner instead of attacking someones credibility from behind a computer keyboard.

Nice first post. Who pee'd in your Cheerios? Shakey, I guess.

I have dealt with Josh on a few purchases, as well as shooting with him at the club we belong to. He's a standup guy, and I'd recommend him to anyone looking to buy.

Oh, and we know all about LEO safety and shooting prowess, too.

I haven't bought anything from Shakey's, but I have been in that shop to browse. They have never been anything but professional and courteous to me, which is more than I can say for some of the LEOs in the county. I would also concur that a LEO and his "brothers", would have a little more respect and professionalism towards the area business owners.
