I couldn't believe it when I walked in today and saw they still had three cases of .223 PMC for $399, and some of the Independence too. $.40 per round in bulk is the best deal I've seen in 8 months!

Went in on my Birthday looking to treat myself, walked out with a GSG 522, 2 boxes of ammunition and a free t shirt, they were very nice to deal with lots of inventory.
I especially like the WW2 handgun cases.
Im going there in future before i go to any other place.

I have only offered some of my Amish doughnuts to 2 different gun shops john browns and big bucks in Wexford pa. Yes they are close to where I procure such heavy goodness but, I only offer to share when I feel some employee's deserve a tip that they remember more than cash.

At john's they have a lot of long guns to look through and they helped me with some scope caps for 2 of my rifles and found another set of grips for my s/w29 4in I currently have 3.

There prices seemed reasonable I just haven't found that item/firearm that I can't live without yet.

on smoking usually if the owner smokes and they feel like it they will usually smoke, I have seen owners dogs roaming at other shops all friendly. Its better then some owner drinking a beer in a guy shop.

When I would "TREAT" myself to Snap On Tools..

    I'd say "look, I bought a $500 T-Shirt and they gave me a wrench"
God Bless America and pass the ammunition!

In 25 years I've bought two firearms from JBA, only because they were items I was looking for and the price was reasonable. IMO for the most part, JMB's prices are on the high side, and on many firearms, on the WAY high side.

I've found the shop fun to look through but prices run high and all the good old stuff never seems to be priced yet. way too slow in getting things out for sale. Everyone is very nice but they won't negotiate on anything. Even a little.

The shop is officially closing March 1st according to their latest Facebook post. Tim is retiring and it doesn*t seem he plans to sell the business.

Waiting to see if they mention any inventory sales.

He's got a nice selection of transferrable MG's in the backroom, a really nice grease gun too. Oh yeah, he's got a 45-70 rifle of mine for repair for 6+ months now, gotta call him today.
