El camp weds sept 15th dinner

OK, here is how my day went...

Woke up planning on a good meal at El Camp. Good Mexican. Good friends. And a few good Mexican friends.

Something unexpected came up in NC and needed my attention, so I left a message on Jmiro's phone that I could not make dinner.

I headed south because that's the way to NC.

Just north of Berkley Springs the mighty Dodge started making an unusual sound. Not something I had ever heard before.

I decided to continue south knowing there is a Dodge dealer approximately 25 miles from my place down there.

Just north of Winchester the "Check Engine" light came on. Time for a quick decision...

It was over 300 miles to the dealer in NC and just over 100 miles to the dealer in PA, so I turned around.

Got to Breezewood and thought about you guys. Looked at my watch and it was 18:30.

Figured it was too late to even attempt a trip to Altoona to join you. Figured by that time Scoutjoe would have already taken whatever I ordered anyway.

I plan to take the truck to the dealer in the morning and give it another try tomorrow.

Well guess you will just have to make a trip to the EASTSIDE of pa and see some of your friends there.... ( HINT HINT )....

Hope we get some more people to turn out over the winter. If not oh well. Then joe wont have as many choices of combos to steal.
