Default Glock 17 shooting high and left

I have the the Glock adjustable sights and still I can't adjust them enough to get the gun not to shoot high and left. Is this me pulling the trigger or something else? My groupings are tight, even when I move my sights I still am high left. I really just don't under stand.

    Thanks
    Jake.

    Side note.

The Smith and Wesson 422 and my revolver both shoot fine. Along with a throw away Jennings pistol. All of which don't have the high and right problem.

If you have access to a pistal vise/stand I would use that to see if it is the gun or you that is shooting high and to the left. Your other option is to take it to a Gunsmith and have the smith take a look at it

Thank you. I'll have to try the gun vice this afternoon.

Let someone else who is experienced with that gun shoot it to see what they think, you dont wanna chase it around.

Got the Glock on the gun vice. The gun at 15 yards was shooting fairly consistent from the vice. The groups weren't very good. They were about 3 inches.

For what its worth, the guns you mentioned have a shorter sight distance than the G-17,simple adjustment would be the front sight dot have the smith enlarge it to fill in the rear sight outline, this worked on my G-22,my G-19 having a shorter sight distance was never a problem and both my glocks have the adjustable sight, this should work !

Not sure that they have different front site diameters available yet,,My smiths remedy was to use a drill and touch the original dot a bit and then fill it with the original color white, like I said it enlarged it enough to when looking at the whole site picture it filled it up leaving no spacing on the rear out line,The smith said it took him less than 5 minutes and he woulnt even charge me it was so minimal a process but a positive one, good luck.

+1 on letting an experienced shooter have a go at your Glock.

if you have been moving your sights and you are still shooting high left, there may be an issue with the sights actually adjusting, or more probable - you're technique may be causing it.

also, is this happening at all ranges close to far or just certain ones? i didn't see where you listed the range you were shooting at. that makes a difference.

Actually its more or less at around 15-25 yards. Its not very noticeable at closer ranges.
