Specific Gun Laws PA/NJ
I'm looking for a few links to official documentation/laws.
Specifically:
1.) License to carry and general gun laws (e.g. legit terms of protecting oneself) for PA and specifically Philly (not sure if they're different).
2.) Permit and gun laws (e.g. legit terms of protecting oneself) of NJ. I know in-order to transport you have to have the ammo/firearm separated, etc.
I guess I'm really curious where I should start to get the specifics, but have you have the links to exactly what I'm looking for that would be excellent!
Thanks!

Re: Specific Gun Laws PA/NJ
NJ is fairly simple. If the weapon is anything more then you saying bang it is illegal! Of course you also need a permit to say bang in public in NJ

PA Title 18 Ch61.
Uniform Firearms Act:

.
NJ surely has something similar. Try some searches for things like "NJ firearms statutes"and "crimes code"
.

Re: Specific Gun Laws PA/NJ
below is a link to a page that has both the use of force laws and the PA Uniform Firearms Act. The PA UFA is the state law on guns. The state has "pre-empted" gun laws meaning counties, municipalities, etc. cannot make their own gun laws (and any that are on the books are null and void). Only state and federal laws matter.
so, philly cannot make their own gun laws (and have them actually be enforceable). however, the PA UFA does include one extra restriction specifically for "cities of the first class" which is philly. you have to have an LTCF to open carry in philly. in the rest of the state, you do not.
