I have been meaning to go down to the local park and see what their sign says. I would do it now, but I know for a fact you aren't allowed in the park from between 11pm-6am. Which, in itself I think is a crock. I'll try and get a few minutes to run down, and take a peek at the signs.

Well, I just assumed they can get the info from my post. I am going to be doing some more research and adding to the list.

There are MANY hundreds if not over a thousand of violations out there in PA.

Hence the reason for Rep Metcalfe's HB 1541 so we could afford to fix the problems.

Yes, I am seeing that for myself. Many of these violations are easy to find but many are not. Some codes are not online or are not easily found. We can only do so much by doing research online, its going to take people visiting each township or borough office to take a peek at their ordinances as violations are not always signed as was the case in Woodward Twp here in Lock Haven.

I don't think Greg's map has been updated in quite some time..and honestly, people post preemption violations all over this site so it's hard to actually track them consistently.

That's correct. Many don't post in the thread I started at all, then others post the entire discussion of their local issue there. When my current employment ends and I have a little more time, I'm considering copying that thread into a Staff area, cleaning it up, and LOCKING it when it comes back so new information can be added in a controlled manner. If I get that far, I will find a way to incorporate the info t1m0thy has collected into it as well. From there, I can update the map as well as ask for active input from users here to help bring it up to speed. That will probably start by simply correcting/adding pins as needed, and including links (where available) later.
