    Default Non-Encounter today with PMRPD

Went to get the car inspected this morning and stopped at Dunkin on Rt 196 for coffee and a bagel. 2 Security Officers from Allied Barton on their way to work asked if I was a cop, I replied in the negative and they said ohhh, ok. No problems there. As of now I just got back from shop rite in Mt. Pocono and apparently the ATM outside was almost robbed last night so there are 2 Pocono Regional Officers baby-sitting it until how knows when and for whatever reason, I didnt ask.
Open carry as usual, walked past the Sergeant inside and he looked at me, then at my sidearm and gave me a nod and nothing more, same when I left and passed the officer standing outside and got in my car. Non-encounter as it should be, just thought I would post this for the hell of it.

I'd call that a positive encounter.

They may be more appreciative to the OC private citizen after East Stroudsburg.

Seems like some LEO didn't sleep through their training. I don't mean to bash LEO as some are really good guys (I shot with one at my range yesterday afternoon) but this is how it should be done. No reason to question you or approach you for OC, and so they didn't.

Pocono regional is a great force and VERY aware that OC is legal, I seriously doubt you would ever get hassled by them.

I would have to say that is a positive note of a song that goes like crap most of the time. Thanks for the posting.

My interactions with the PMRPD have been very good. In my experience they are very professional and a police force I'm glad to have covering my area.
