    Default Tall Ships Erie

    Anyone going?

Tall Ships Erie is scheduled for September 9th to September 12th, 2010 on Dobbins Landing. The event will include eight tall ships open for tours and other small vessels for sailing excursions.

Tall Ships Erie is a fundraiser to support the Flagship Niagara. It will be held during Erie Heritage Weekend. We are expecting 30,000 to 50,000 people in attendance, based on similar events held around the Great Lakes

Wait, Dobbins should be public land, meaning they would fall into pre-emption for "banning" guns. Shouldn't they?

Between a few of us they have become aware (8 great Tuesdays)...but they still don't care about anyones rights or pre-emption.

Last I checked it was still a public dock. The Port Authority & Council has ignored pre-emption with their ordinances...even after being made aware of the fact that other municipalities have retracted such ordinances due to pre-emption laws.

Oh man, I'll have to leave my grenades at home again.

I think those rules may be fore boarding the ships.
I may have to check them out.

I know, they banned bombs and any kind of tools also .

I was thinking they would apply these to boarding the boats, but if they apply it to just Dobbins, that's screwed.
