    Default If guns are banned?

So, you wake up in the morning and guns are banned (possible with O'bummer in office) The public is ordered to turn in all firearms within two weeks. Now what? Personally, I think after mudding them up in my walls, I would probably report them lost or stolen. I'm just wondering what everyone would do. I'm sure 99.9% of people here would never turn them over. Would you hide them or just openly defy the goverment? The sheeple in England handed them over. I'm not thinking it would go that easy here.

True, I never thought of the "no registry" ... Guess we are all safe then...

If I said what I would truly do in this situation, I would have a white van sitting in front of my house full of agents within a week.
I'm so fast, I can bump fire a bolt action.

I think pitchforks and torches would be in order, along with tar and feathers.

I think you better wake up a little. I'm not saying that to be rude. If it was not for the NRA and other good organizations, it would have already happened. Ever hear of GUN CONTROL? It is happening now, just slowly. Unless you stand up, unless you express your right to own a firearm, IT WILL HAPPEN. By god, bet your life on it.

IMO a lot more people than you might think will give in. Also, asking what people would do in a hypothetical situation is difficult.

The horrible truth of it is that the low percentage of people who would stand up/revolt while making a statement would probably do very little good. Battles like this are won differently these days. We do not live in the same society that would allow a political coup the way it did 300 years ago. We live in the age of technology where everything we do is monitored.

I highly suspect the 2A will never be taken away, only weaned from us other ways. As cigarettes have become almost too expensive for most people to enjoy these days eventually so will be owning a gun.
