Re: Article about Non-Resident Licenses
Two of the security guards said that they were on the job when their guns were taken, and that they were holding licenses issued by the state police to security officers under Pennsylvania Act 235, the Lethal Weapons Training Act.
Last year, Oliver, who had nonresident permits from three states and an Act 235 license, was driving to his job as a security guard when police pulled over his car for allegedly running a stop sign in West Philadelphia. He said that police did not honor any of his permits and held him in custody for 18 hours, forcing him to stand outside for four hours in winter and denying him his diabetes medication.
3 pages of bullshit that Philly does. granted some of these guys dont exactly look or act like upstanding people in some of the accounts ie: dui with pot and other things.Guns don't kill people, it's mostly the bullets.
