Contagion 2010 Zombie Shoot / load out ?

This is my first one and just want to be prepared...

My MAK 90 AK that will be my main source of battling the Undead. (minus the scope)


Second line of defense is my trusty Remington 870 with 8 round magazine extension and six rounds on the side for those emergency reloads. Flourescent site sits on a full length barrel so I can reach out with slugs.


When things get close and personal, it will be the XD9 that is now sporting a Crimson Trace laser. It will be on a leg holster attached to the vest I have pictured down below. The leg holster will carry two extra 16 round mags.


I'll be carrying my magazines for my AK and extra ammo for the Shotgun in my Tactical Tailor Combat Vest. Note the ZRT patch on it.


Amount of ammo needed will be dictated by what Lastdefender tells me I will need.

Probably be in street clothing to simulate Zombies showing up and me having to just grab my gear and get out there and fight the undead.

I was going to wear the standard ZRT gear that we all got issued (What? You didn't get yours. Where were you?). But I think I'll tone it down a bit.

Bug out Bag - I already have one of these set up for real life emergencies, will also hold spare mags/ammo

Primary Weapon:
Bushmaster M4 w/Eotech and Surefire Light. Has Vltor stock with extra batteries and MIAD with extra bolt and firing pin. 500 rounds M855 Green tip 62 grain

Secondary Weapon:
FN PS90, 300 rounds 192SF

Sidearm:
Glock 19 w/TLR-2, 200 rounds

There is a shotgun scabbard on my bug out bag, for the Mossberg 500, with 100 rounds.




Now I know what you're thinking... 4 weapons plus ammo plus bag plus armor = too much weight. But not so much The bag with Shotty is about 30 lbs, add about 20 for the vest, and say another 60 lbs for all other weapons and ammo. Total 110 lbs, but distributed with load bearing gear. I'm not in anywhere as good of shape as I was when I was in the service, but any infantryman/armor crewman could pull this load long distances. Just remember I never said I would be that quick about it...

Im taking as much ammo as concievable +10% as this shoot is more "Freestyle" than the others Ive been to. Ie you can go back and re shoot the stages you like.


Pagoda, My precision rifle is AR based, but Im also bringing am AK for most of the rifle shooting, just to make my day more difficult.

Navy digigettoflage pants and some sort of hoodies maybe with some sort of team name on them.

Holster/mags : Basic Bianchi Beretta holster, Ak 75rd drum bag to put the 12ga shells in, EGER AK mag pouch, 2-2 mag 9mm mag holders, GI 30rd mag holder, 2-30rd ar mags and 1 modded to single shot. 4-30rd, 240rd ak mags.

How Much ammo : 300rds of 7.62x39, 200 rds 9mm, 60rds of 75gr Prvi .223
50rds of 12ga thats on the approved list.
What weapons :
92 F/S, Norico underfolder AK, RRA NM AR-15, borrowed Mossburg 590

I have backpack bags for the AK and AR, reg soft case for the 590 and Beretta. I hope to go with pre loaded mags and one 50cal ammo can that will hold the rest. A 2nd can for other stuff. A small cooler, 2 folding chairs, jackets and hats. It will all fit in the little red war wagon. That fits nicely in the back of the burb. If the transports to the range keep it under 25 can be pulled behind the transport.
