Places to shoot in the Las Vegas area

I will be in Las Vegas in September. I'm looking for somewhere interesting to shoot. I've already fond The Gun Store and a few other indoor locations. I was interested in some outdoor locations with rentals but haven't had much luck. I'll be there Sat- Friday but i only expect to have a rental car for about 2 days (their taxes and fees on rental cars is insane). Any info would be appreciated. Also, if anyone has had any personal experiences ( good or bad) let me know. I'm going to be there for vacation but I wouldnt want to miss any once in a lifetime opertunities and i would like to keep my a$$hat dealings toi a minimum.

I was in Vegas recently, but not long enough to try The Gun Store. It would've been neat to shoot a full-auto M249.

I'd say you're more likely to find more people with the information you seek on a Nevada shooter's forum as opposed to a PA forum.
