I do Norells on 1911"s and AR 15's but don't think I want to get into outside work. As far as I'm concerned it is one of the best coatings out there.
It has to be done right though. Do not do it over a bead blasted finish as it will not adhere properly. All parts should be Media blasted with 90 grit Aluminum Oxide.
You can do it yourself if you Follow the instructions. It is not really that hard to do.
