    Default Piestrak's tent sale

I went to Piestrak's Gun Shop tent sale this week, but I'm not going to talk about the sale. I'm going to talk about the customers. Gun shoppers are, for the most part, good people. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Heck, I got more advice and help from the customers than from the shop workers. I heard of experiences with certain guns/rifles. I received info about some others. My point is gun people are not wackos looking to shoot everything. They are normal folks with a passion. No one was obnoxious, or too good to talk to me. I had a good time and felt better about people. More Americans should be like them/us!

We are not "car salesman or lawyers" although some of us might be employed in those endeavors. I'm surprised that you are surprised-we are part of a culture as old as our Republic. There are man accronyms in life and ours is not 4F but the 4Fs - faith, family, friends, firearms.

Thanks for bringing on the rant,

What day did you go? I was there yesterday. Met up with several other posters from here. We went out to lunch and talked for about two or three hours.

Rich told me they sold 20 safes on Thursday.

I was there Saturday morning. I had a good time talking about what rifle to buy for target competitions and chucking. Most advice was a 22lr for target and a 223, 22/250, or 243 for chucks. I can only buy one though. I'm leaning towards a 243.
