Something changed this week, post replies SLOW

This just started with me this past week. Reading and browsing the forum is fine but posting replies and or sending PMs has become incredibly slow. I've waited up to 45 seconds after hitting the post button

Like I said, just started this week. I'm thinking there's some db bottle neck or some PHP code that is choking and causing the lag.

Glad it's not just me.

It's something about the POST of the reply back to the server and / or between the script connecting with the database and / or inserting the data into the db.

I've seen MySQL do this on other sites and it's usually the beginning of something bigger (but not better).

Are the main servers and the db servers load balanced?

Same here. Slow,but not every time.

Yup, same here ... 2 out of 5 posts or PMs are doing it for me, then it will stop and then I will get 3 or 4 in a row that do it.

It's been slow for me. My PM's have been bugged as well. I keep getting notices for the same PM's that I've already checked, it's been this way for a few days. Just stopped earlier.
