Slo-Mo Saiga 12
At one point he fires it without the dust cover on and you can see the internals.
Saigas are just some fun guns. Wicked firepower.

Re: Slo-Mo Saiga 12
Not to rain on your parade, but I have sen as many Saiga's fail in 3-gun matches as all other shot guns combined. Between mags that don't seat properly, and being picky about ammo they are all to often a problem. Still, when they work and the shooter can get a new mag in they are fast.

Re: Slo-Mo Saiga 12
I own one and I agree with you to a certain extent. Mag changes take practice. But it's still a bad mofo and it's such a fun gun to shoot. And despite being a smooth-bore it's scary accurate with slugs to over 50 yds.

Re: Slo-Mo Saiga 12
I wonder what the barrel length is on the one in the first video. I think I might have just found my next project SBS saiga 12...gears are turnin guys.
But in a few parts I see it stovepiped, lools like on the last round of each mag. At about the 1 min mark looks like who ever was doing the rapid fire in slo motion fell down backwards while filiming..

Re: Slo-Mo Saiga 12
Nice clean and not over donw. I like it, looks great.
By chance can you give me a measurment from your Saiga?
I am curious what the length is from the front of gas tube/block. and measure to the threaded end of the brake.Planing a future SBS idea..
Also since being tuned how does she run?

Re: Slo-Mo Saiga 12
Nice! How many round drum is that?
My biggest problem with these ( after they have been worked) is the size of the mags/Drums. Other than a cost issue I see no reason wht someone cant develope a drum that holds 20rds and is the size of the 75rd drums for the AK.
Using the same clock work spring and snail feeding method of the Russian drums would make a 20/30 round drum a realistic size and then you would have a package.
I like them, but their just not there yet.
