Official Kel Tec PMR-30 Thread.

Kel-Tec says they are going to unveil the RMR-30 at the 2011 Shot Show. Below are prototype photos (the prototype actually has an unfinished aluminum stock and handguard - these photos have been photoshopped to show it after it was coated black) . . . .





They actually made a fully automatic version (not for resale) to prove the cycling capability of the gun . . . .

Now i have to go out and get both when the rifle is available. Just did a search at Ktog on the RMR and got nothing.

Out the door, with the pistol, two boxes of Federal .22Mag 50gr./50, a new set of corded earplugs, tax and PA paperwork fees, was $342.

Sounds like decent pricing. Some guys paid twice that for just the gun right when they came. I want to pick a PMR up eventually but there are other guns I want closer to the top of the list.

Speaking from experience, begin stocking up on .22Mag ammunition - you'll go through it pretty fast!

The PMR isn't that tough to find. Richland Shooting Supplies gets them in. I bought mine there for $289. I haven't shot mine yet, but when I do, I will be doing a head to head with my FN FsN.

Due to availability, prior residence restrictions (MD) and just a lack of money, I'm waiting it out. It seems like there is a bug or two that needs to be worked out.
