Remington 4-12 scope; Opinions/Reviews?

I purchased a used rifle with a Remington 4-12 scope on it. Does anyone know anything about this brand? I did a search on the net but wasn't able to find any info on them. I presume it was originally put on top of a Remington Rifle as part of a combo rifle deal.

I haven't tinkered with it too much, but I would like to know something more about these scopes.

Inexpensive Chinese scope made for Remington to be purchased as a combo. Usually sold by the box stores. ( Dick's etc ).
Cheap optical glass, flimsy erectors.
