Good luck on the ammo reimbursement. Just ONCE, I'd love to see one of these cases against Filthy reach the Supreme Court, and the city be found liable for MILLIONS in illegally confiscated stuff - ESPECIALLY GUNS.

That being said, depending on the amount and length of time involved until I get a settlement for my recent leg injury/surgical repair, I may in fact do just what you suggest and use a chunk to bankroll a suit just to finally once get back at these asshats.

I just had a thought, scary I know. Im wondering if there is any potential libel/slander exposure against PPD or the reporting officer for calling Viper an " offender" in a document that anyone can acquire via OPRA.

It might be a stretch, but like others Im pissed at the inherent wrongness of catgorizing an innocent citizen exercising his lawful rights as an " offender", not even predicated by the usually prevelant " alleged" disclaimer. I have no doubt it was in fact done of purpose as has already been stated, but on purpose or simply poor report writing it doesnt matter IMHO. If the overlords want to twist things to fit their personal ideology, then I say we give them a taste of their own medicine. Just sayin...

Don't worry, I've spoken with a lawyer, but since no illegal act was committed (how DARE this law abiding citizen exercise his right in MY city of the First Class!), I'm hoping I can go file a return of property thing and get it back in short order. I'll be discussing this further with my lawyer tomorrow afternoon.

Busy, as always. Not much has changed as far as anyone here would be concerned - I'm still huge into OC, but this far north of Philadelphia, it's rare that it ever causes a stir. In fact, 90% of any encounters are overwhelmingly positive. Hope you're also doing well!
