Default Monroeville Gun Show / Worth the trip?

CE Gun Shows has one in Monroeville this weekend.

Is it worth the $8 admission?

If you don't mind paying someone to disarm you while selling you a product they don't trust you with...

Gun shows haven't been worth going to for at least 15 years. ...well, unless you're a collector and looking for a rare item - which you'll end up paying high dollar prices for.

Internet sales will beat a gun show in prices nearly every time, and thats including any shipping and/or taxes.

I went once. Paid admission to end up finding a deal on a used SIG I could have found locally, minus the admission charge. So, no, I won't be going back. Didn't find many good deals at all.

Same here went once to find more overpriced stuff than Gander Mountian and still had to pay admission. I'll stick to my local shops who dont jack up thier prices to pay for table space.

Boy, you guys are a bunch of whining, cheap bastards
I go for the fun of it. $8 isn't much to pay for a few hours of fun browsing a bunch of gun stuff. You never know what you might find. Hell, if you think gun shows are bad, try going shoe shopping with your wife/girlfriend for half a day for the fun of it. I bet most of you fat F$#K's typically drop $8 at McDonald's!

It used to be, but it's been more than ten years since I last went. It used to be a good place for surplus military rifles, ammunition, and occasionally grips.

There used to be a guy who came and put on good displays of Japanese weapons and military equipment.

I enjoy the walk around. I dont like someone telling me I must disarm before entering at an event about being armed no less!
