    Default Hunting Dog Help

About a month and a half ago my wife and I rescued a dog from a local shelter. He is a great dog and is one week away from finishing obedience training class. I was wondering if anyone had any info on any hunting dog trainers in the Upper Bucks (Quakertown) area. The dog is a German Shorthair Pointer/Lab mix a little over a year old. I would love to get him out in the field a little bit to see what he can do. Any input is much appreciated.

i have a German shorthair he's about 11months im gonna take him out for dove this week. but the way i trained him was i bought some birds and tossed them in a field. that was it after a few minutes it was like he was hunting for years(minus the gunfire which im goin to get him on this week)
