I do like those stands. Be careful with that low target though, don't want to skip a round over the berm....

Lookslike the berm has plenty of lumber behind it, but you're right.

Nice stands. I'm waiting until I have the right material to make some metal ones. I like the PVC for ease of use and transport though.

I made several out of PVC, and while cheap I prefer the ones made out of wood.

I put old style window weights in the base of the PVC to make them more stable in a breeze. A good fart tends to knock them over otherwise.

I can't see what size the bottom PVC tee is but if you made the base out of 2" X 2" X 1 1/2" branch looking up, you could put pieces of 1 1/2" through it to stabilize it OR just get pieces of rebar and slide them through the base tees.

One hit though, would shatter the PVC into a million pieces and would be even worse in low temps.
    Stick with wood or steel.

Plan on filling end caps with concrete at some point for the stands.
I don't really see me shooting the stand but i guess we will see.

Since yoyur thread title specifically talks about reactive targets I figure I'd share these.

Courtesy of Mr 27 Hand, and Mr. notenoughguns... This beautiful dueling tree will be at the PAFOA westy group shoots.

I added a "set screw" to keep the tree from spinning in the base. It also gives us height adjustability. Not new, but definitely improved
