marketing fail
Saw this, thought it was funny...
Nothing like selling .223 FMJ and labeling it as Hunting ammo :PThe first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.
Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

Re: marketing fail
Ya I looked at that kind of thought it was funny when I got some from cabelas shipped to me the other day. I got some to try in my AR to make sure it cycled fine. No issued with 40 rounds so I think I'll get some more to play with. Can't beat $3.99 a box really.
In America arms are free merchandise such that anyone who has the capital may make their houses into armories and their gardens into parks of artillery. - Ira Allen, 1796

Re: marketing fail
Is there anything in the Game Code that says you can not use it for varmint hunting? I know bullet types are regulated for Big Game, but considering a .223 is actually a varmint cartridge, can it be used? I looked quickly and could not find anything.
Be safe (and the right size).

Re: marketing fail
They may have been labeled for Europeans who cannot have a soft point cartridge?

Re: marketing fail
I've ran about 200 rounds through my AR15 15T with no problems at all. And it cost me 25 cents a shot.

Re: marketing fail
Could it be considered a hunting caliber, rather than a soft tip or hollow point like what most people use? I think so.
Jeff Cooper was a huge supporter of gun games, when he was winning them at least...
