was considering to purchase a handgun, don't know any of the steps in doing so. do you need a credit card to purchase or can you pay cash???

you can pay cash, but you still need your ID so its not like if you pay cash for a TV and they don't know who bought it, they still need to do a background check and transfer it into your name

a lot of local small dealers/shops will not take credit cards for anything because it costs them extra money to process it or osmething like that. they only accept cash or checks.

if you go to a place like cabela's or gander mtn., you can use a credit card just fine.

I'll qualify your question on this response, In a shop, you can use Cash, barter, Credit card, debit card... Trade, i even heard of a bit of whoredom going on....

Over the internet, the usual way to go is CC but most places will allow check if you allow the time to clear or cashers checks, noney orders etc.
