Remember when you were young and first started hunting?
Remember when you were young and first started hunting?
* It was fun to argue about which was the best deer caliber with your friends.
* A hunter could count on seeing at least some deer everyday.
* Most private land was available to hunt on if you asked politely.
What can you add to the list?

How you never saw any buck during their season but during doe season you saw a bunch! (and vice versa)
how much I hate tree ratsThe first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.
Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

I don't know, I'm 22 and this will be my first year hunting! I just sent in for my antlerless tags yesterday. Will be sure to add to the list when hunting season is over!

When you packed the wrong ammo, Then you had to walk 40mins back to the house.
That still happens to me......

How excited my grand pop was when I got my first rabbit, my first deer, etc. Put a smile on the ol' mans face that I'll never forget.
