    Remember when you were young and first started hunting?

    * It was fun to argue about which was the best deer caliber with your friends.

    * A hunter could count on seeing at least some deer everyday.

    * Most private land was available to hunt on if you asked politely.

    What can you add to the list?

    How long you could stay out in the cold :P

    how many days you could stay out of school for

    How you never saw any buck during their season but during doe season you saw a bunch! (and vice versa)

    how much I hate tree rats
    The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

    Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

    I don't know, I'm 22 and this will be my first year hunting! I just sent in for my antlerless tags yesterday. Will be sure to add to the list when hunting season is over!

    When you packed the wrong ammo, Then you had to walk 40mins back to the house.


    That still happens to me......

    or you forget the release for you bow and only realize it after you get 25 feet up in the tree and the sun is just coming up...

    I used to b REAL bad at that the first year or two. I would be so excited/nervous I couldn't sleep hardly at all. Now, it's just like any other hobby I enjoy.

    How excited my grand pop was when I got my first rabbit, my first deer, etc. Put a smile on the ol' mans face that I'll never forget.
