Stag model 8
Has anyone changed the handguard on their stag model 8 piston ar? Is it easy? What would be a good handguard?

Re: Stag model 8
What specifically are you looking to get out of an aftermarket handgaurd? Do you want a free float system or something more basic? Were you looking to add rails for accesories? No matter what you want you'll have to make sure it can clear the piston system. Something like this system from Daniel Defense would be an excellent addition to your Stag however, the install can be tricky depending on your AR knowledge.

I would like a quad rail to mount some accesories, or I could just keep it simple.

Re: Stag model 8
I've had 2 stag model 8s. Both lefties. I currently have the Daniel Defense Omega 7.0 Very nice rail, its easy to install and comes with instructions. It's also removable if you need to switch it back to factory. Goodluck.
