    Yep, and I sent both my FL and MD permit applications at the same time. I received my FL one today, so around 2 weeks round trip.

    OK, so I expect Legg to hear arguments, but I still maintain the threshold for a stay on a constitutional (and any issue) is damned high.

    IIRC MD will have to show irreparable harm/damage AND likelihood of winning on the merits. legg ain't buying that; they'll have to sell it to the Appeals Court.

    Anyone here more qualified to fill in some blanks?

    I don't see Legg granting a stay; his trial ruling is pretty straight forward.

    They'd have to get a stay at the next level . . . I just don't see it, but then again, maybe I just don't want to see it?

    We must be. I sent mine certified mail, return receipt and it took near 2 weeks to get that back. It looks like it was setting somewhere for 14 days before someone signed for it.
