    Default Beretta 9000fs

Went to Gander Mountain tonight just to look around while my wife went shopping at the mall. They had the Beretta 9000FS on special for 349.00 I had a coupon for ten dollars off my next purchase so i got the gun for 339.oo. I know that it is a chunky little pistol but I could not pass up a Beretta for this price. I will be going to the range tomorrow to see how it shoots.

I have had mine for about 6-7months I I have found it to be very reliable. I am quite the Beretta fan.
That being said, there are a few issues with the 9000 that take some getting used to such as the very short/narrow slide that is difficult to grip to pull the slide back. The safety does loosen up after about 250 rounds making the decock/safety much smoother. The front sight sticks up a bit like a big sail on a ship, but I haven't had a problem with it snagging.
Mine is a .40 s&w. The 9000 is definitly a good looking weapon, easy to shoot and very accurate. Nice price from GM!

Shot the Beretta 9000FS today. Fairly accurate and totally reliable.Mine is in 40S&W. The recoil is fairly harsh. Much more than any of my oiher 40's. But all in all I still feel that I got a good gun at a decent price.
