SCRANTON - The owner of a Nanticoke sporting goods store who pleaded guilty conspiring to illegally export military equipment to Russia was sentenced today to 32 months in federal prison.

Mark Komoroski, owner of D & R Sports Center, was also ordered to pay a $10,000 fine by U.S. District Judge Edwin Kosik.

The U.S. Attorney's office charged Komoroski January 2008 with conspiring with another man to smuggle equipment, including rifle scopes, firearm magazines and other military equipment out of the United state to be sold to persons in Russia.
