Default Best way to make friends? A gun shoot. And this Site.

I invited a fellow PAFOA member to a local IDPA shoot. Well he showed up and brought a buddy with him. FordDieselSteve is his sign on name. Not sure if the other guy is a PAFOA member or not. We were to busy talking about how to handle each shoot.

Till it was over, they were both hooked. We all had a blast. They were both sorry that this was the end of the season. H*ll, I'm sorry it's the end.

But if it weren't for this site, and a local shoot. We probably wouldn't have met. They are good people and it was great getting to know them. Course, I haven't met anyone on this site I didn't like.

We threw some lead. We made some noise. We laughed at each other as we screwed up the shoots. We cheered and congratulated each other on great runs. Yep, it was a good time. I was glad I got to meet them. I'm sure we will be shooting together a lot more in the future.

Thanks again Dan, for making all of this possible.

This is exactly what I hoped would come out of this site and one of the reasons I started it. I'm glad it is working! I've met a ton of people I consider friends on here.

Sorry I was so late to put my two cents in. I was with Ford Diesel Steve at the IDPA shoot and all I can say is I haven't had that much fun for a while. I can't wait until next season. I will be looking forward to shoot with everyone again. Fun, Nice Guys, and a New Way to "Spend Some Money". See Ya Soon, but probably not soon enough.
